Q: What is Spytooth?
A: Spytooth is a bluetooth device scanner written in java (J2ME). Basically Spytooth discovers bluetooth devices around you (about 10 mt.) and save them to your mobile phone. Once saved, you can use Spytooth to know if those devices are near you (example if you want to know if your friends are at disco, pubs and other places).
Q: Can Spytooth access remote devices data?
A: No. Spytooth can't read sms, contact list or other data of remote devices
Q: Why do i get "Unknown" when i scan devices?
A: "Unknown" means that your mobile phone has not been able to retrieve the name of the remote device. However the device has been discovered even if the name is Unknown. You can change this name to what you want. The important thing is the device's internal ID (the six hex digit number).
Q: How can i remove ads from Spytooth?
A: Unlock Spytooth.
Q: What is the difference between "Spy all" and "Spy friends"?
A: "Spy all" function allows you to detect every bluetooth device around you. "Spy friends" allows you to detect only devices previously saved to your mobile and with the option "Friend" set to "Yes". It's usefull when you are in crowded places and you are looking for your friends and don't want detect every (maybe hundreds) bluetooth devices.
